pft...unless you want to get into a really nice school (harvard, etc.) who the fck cares about SAT? i had a 2.5gpa and a 25 ACT and i got into the college i wanted and am doing great high school is a joke

QFT. I know like 10 people who took the SAT's and bragged about how well they did on them (I didn't take them) only to wind up going to a community college wher eyou can get in if you have a fvcking GED.

I didn't even go to college and I make almost 100k per year. (and am this close to buying the business I work for) College is a joke.

I'm pretty sure they're important to you for whatever reason at this point, but for the rest of us, once you get into college or pass that entry obstacle, you'll look back at your High School / College life and just laugh at how many hoops you jumped through.

Pshhh. That's cuz there are a lot of other factors into college admissions.

Let's see you get into a top notch engineering school like Cal. For many of my friends this was their SAFETY SCHOOL. Suck that.

Eh, I'm not hugely worried about it... I just don't have the greatest GPA in the world, and it would def help me out in the scholarship department.

This is only my first time to take it, so I've got another shot at it next year.

You dont know where you would be had you gone to college so you cant say college is a joke just because you make a lot of money. You dont need a college degree to become succesful but it will certainly open a lot of doors...

I think my SAT score was the only reason I got into my college. My GPA was relatively low and extracurriculars were nearly nonexistent. Regardless, good luck.

Its all about the cash. My 1500 got me full tuition plus they pay me $2000 per semester in cash (stipend). Thats no joke.

my 1590 got me full tuition and stipend. I retook for a 1600 so that I could be considered as a competitive candidate for a separate foundation grant. Am I showing off? Sure, but I didn't have to pay a dime.


so yes, SAT does matter. Maybe not so much with regards to entrance (unless you're a dumbass with <1300), but very much so with certain scholarships

dumbass with less than 1300? what a joke lots of smart people make less than 1300. My guess is you're foreign and they paid you so they could meet their equal rights quota. I made a 1280 and I get paid to go to school big freakin whoop.
