WSJ... not sure if this is publically available or not, though you're welcome to check. i imagine collegeboard.com would have it, if anywhere.

the WSJ article this is from is about how colleges are courting jewish students to boost rankings.

I saw this in my morning news paper.

I wonder what percentage of students listed their religious orientation. I know I didn't.

<< what about the atheists and the agnostics? >>

Judging by the posts here at ATOT, they are much smarter than everyone else.

I got a 1380 on my SAT's and I am an atheist. But saying that I think the SAT is a bunch of BS. I know people that recieved lowwer SAT's than I and they do better in school then me. SATs are to old. They need to be updated to the ever changing world.

That and a lot of schools are moving away from using them.

True, but I also knew people that were great in school, but were too dumb to get out of their own way.

i'm pretty sure a local university might be able to help you there. dunno.

i think SAT reflects effort more than actual skill. there are a lot of people who are smart, but don't try hard, so they get low scores on the SAT. i have no problem with this, personally.
