I don't view humor through a political lens. Miller rocked Weekend Update 30 years ago, though.

Silverman's stuff is usually pure cringe. I know that's what she's going for, but as such, it's just too cringey for me.

Yes, bad enough that my take on what he said is in no way unfair. And you're upset at Silverman for bringing those words to the public's attention.. why? If she meant that tweet I posted as a joke, there isn't one, and I have a newfound appreciation for her sense of humor.

If you really are interested go sift through hours of interviews. Asking me to just magically pull out a conversation buried in 20 other topics for any given video is unrealistic.

You missed the point entirely. A bunch of lefties posted that "the left never has problems with comedy" and there were posts asking for examples, etc.
