I have the feeling that as long as Sarah Palin is even remotely connected to the republican machine that the White House will safely b in the hands of the Democrats!!

Shortly after declaring that she's "seriously interested" in running for president in 2016, Sarah Palin delivered a confusing speech that was panned by many, even some on the right.

Speaking at the Iowa Freedom Summit in Des Moines on Saturday, the former Alaska governor and one-time vice presidential candidate delivered a speech that John Fund of the National Review described as "meandering and often bizarre."

Here's an excerpt:

"Things must change for our government. Look at it. It isn’t too big to fail. It’s too big to succeed! It's too big to succeed, so we can afford no retreads or nothing will change with the same people and same policies that got us into the status quo. Another Latin word, status quo, and it stands for, ‘Man, the middle-class everyday Americans are really gettin’ taken for a ride.’ That's status quo, and GOP leaders, by the way, y'know the man can only ride ya when your back is bent. So strengthen it. Then the man can't ride ya, America won't be taken for a ride, because so much is at stake and we can't afford politicians playing games like nothing more is at stake than, oh, maybe just the next standing of theirs in the next election."

In response to the speech, Democratic National Committee communications director Mo Elleithee issued a two-word statement:

“Thank you!”

The New York Daily News reports that Palin's teleprompter froze, forcing her to ad-lib some of her remarks.

Palin also referred to President Barack Obama as "an overgrown little boy." And in a clip posted online by Right Wing Watch, Palin attacked the left for being racist and sexist.

"Really, it's kind of Orwellian, observing how that works, that rule of Saul Alinsky's, no doubt, that the left employs. Disgusting charges, from the left. Reverse them -- for it is they who point a finger not realizing that they have triple that amount of fingers pointing right back at them, revealing that they are the ones who really discriminate and divide on color and class and sex. We call them out. We don’t let them get away with it.”
The reaction on Twitter was not particularly encouraging:
And yet.... Conroy also reported that Palin left the stage to a standing ovation and the Taylor Swift song, "Shake It Off."

Palin just spits out word salads.

But hey, she's a great grifter, which is why she's a star in the GOP.

Hero of the right calling the black president "boy", cheering ensues.

they should really make sure they take every single precaution when allowing sarah palin to speak.

you need a teleprompter, earpiece, cue cards, airplanes with banners, messages in a bottle.

whatever it takes to keep her from using her own words.

redundancy is not for data anymore!

I would take Palin over Fiorina any day of the week. I was shocked when she crawled out of the sewer to show her ugly scrawny evil face in Iowa. Why won't that bitch die or go away? At least Palin is easy on the eyes.

But it's the left that are the racists..

As much as it pains me to defend Palin I have zero believe that was in anyway intended to be racist. Belittling yes but it's a huge reach in that context to believe it was meant as a racist comment.

I actually followed this. It sounds better if you block out Palin and imagine a toasted Janis Joplin delivering it between songs.

I don't believe that Palin intended the comment to be racist either.

Palin must love all the attention that you guys give her. Two threads in one day on her.

I understand that you are incapable of seeing the CBD for what it is but surely you can comprehend the liberal brain defect, the terror folk on the left feel when extreme defectives like Palin reach for the steering wheel. The left, in their prison of logic, are terrified of the irrationally insane. Liberals deny the fact that reason is like water off the back of conservative brain defectives. In order to confront the problem of the CBD and the danger it poses to humanity generally, they would first have to become conscious of how their own fear operates in a similar manner but in that different direction.

Imagine you lived in a country full of sleeping psychotics and here comes Sara Palin trying to wake them from their torpor. You would have to have exceptional knowledge not to be afraid.

Al Sharpton is running as the Hero of the Left? If he were how large of a landslide would result?

The National Review is hardly a Democratic mouthpiece and they are a source cited. They had two categories, winners and losers. The NR called her a loser. Seems like the Hero isn't a factor, but she sure is fun to listen to.

Remember her debate with Biden? Biden couldn't do anything but laugh at her. There is no response to an insane person. Palin is nuts.

Wow, its even worse to see the video. I just read it first, but watching that video is terrible. You can tell how sporadic she is. She keeps looking up which means she is trying to recall her talking points.
