AlaskaReport.com receives letter from Palin lawyer Van Flein evidently confirming some details (will post when we clarify missing information)
AlaskaReport has learned today that Todd Palin and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin are to divorce. Multiple sources in Wasilla and Anchorage (including a former Palin staffer) have confirmed the split.

That might make her position amongst the most conservative of voters a bit weaker. Think she'll still try for the presidency?

If true, the left is still not happy that they destroyed her children and her marriage. They want her DEAD... Republicans want terrorists dead, Democrats want Republicans dead.

"Sarah Palin beats press to blog claim"

Sarah Palin?s spokeswoman Saturday took the unusual step of posting a statement on Facebook denying an anonymous blog report that the former Alaska governor was getting a divorce and moving to Montana.

?Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story,? wrote Meg Stapleton on Palin?s Facebook page. ?There is no truth to the recent ?story? (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).?

Actually, no journalists had reported the allegations. They were made on an Alaskan blog called ?The Immoral Minority,? and then repeated on other blogs, including Gawker, a well-trafficked New York gossip site"

What a troll.....so on one hand, those "liberals" want to hug terrorists and not kill them, but on the other hand, they want to kill republicans? Really?

Did you stop taking your meds again?

Just for the record, you are as complete and total an idiot as I've ever seen on P&N ... and that's saying something. (This assumes, of course, that you actually believe the mindless shit you spew rather than simply being an enormous troll.) Nobody wants Palin dead. They simply don't want her having any significant influence on the way this country is run. She epitomizes all of the things wrong with today's Republican Party. She's like Bush, Cheney, Delay, Boehner, and a few more of the RNC's worst, all melded together into a repugnant blob of inept, empty-headed, Cro-magnonesque corruption. There are thoughtful, capable conservatives in the RNC, people who can actually be a positive and constructive influence on governing America. She's at the opposite end of the Party.

Nonetheless, if this rumor is true, I feel bad for her and her family. I can only imagine how stressful the last year was to them. I'm sure this is a big reason we get the kind of national political candidates we do. It is rare to find somebody qualified to lead and selfless enough to truly serve who is also willing to put himself and his family through the meat grinder of a national campaign. It's just not worth it. Instead we mostly wind up people who are corrupt and obsessed with power.

If so, as opposed to thoughtless hyperbole, then he's an idiot too. Two wrongs don't make a right.

You are truly amazing. Can you ever just once post something that isnt totally asinine?

IF she is divorcing, how is that the lefts fault? And as for wishing death... The left LOVES Palin. Her remaining in the spotlight as a republican and/or conservative does wonders for the left winning elections. She is an idiot just like BUSH- and a great reminder of what might happen if the country votes religious republican again. I hope she stays around until she's well over 100 years old and I pray that she has the best of the best healthcare to help prolong her life and health and time in the public eye as long as humanly possible.
