The best part is that they didn't have to write half of those lines!

Yeah, I told my wife as we were watching it that it would've been epic if they just did the interview verbatim.

The brilliance of the skit is that, for the most part, they did use Sarah Palin's exact words.

You make bunnies cry, as the kids say.

I'm gonna go shoot a gun in the air a bunch of times near a school. Here's hoping none of the bullets hit kids!

I figured it would just get tossed in P&N anyway if I had posted it in OT, so I may as well post it here first.

I think it's pretty good -- maybe not as good as the first one -- but it still gets the message across :)

Actually her real interview was funnier in a cringing embarrassing kind of way.

True. At this point it's like trying to parody a parody.

Ya gotta admit it's funny they used a lot of her exact words in context even.

And that they were the funniest parts! You know you've got one lame candidate when the comedy brain-trust of SNL can't top her for comic incoherence.

But I LOVED how Fey captured Palin's fluttery little hand in the air gestures. Pitbull with lipstick, my ass. More like a toy poodle.

This stuff is a bit like beating up a kitten. Palin is getting beaten up badly for not saying no to McCain. We should be beating up McCain for selecting her. She's not tragically flawed, simply not competent to be Veep or Prez. Maybe next election cycle the Republicans will think twice about Veep? Who knows? They are such slow learners....

I thought the skit posted by the OP was hilarious, btw. ;)

Does your "On" switch have any position other than "ATTACK"?

The skit was, funny, indeed, btw.

Agree, quit at two minute mark, just terrible writing, bad execution, bad all around.

In the fake debate one, which also drags on/mostly isn't funny, the impression of Obama is pretty spot on. McCain's is pretty good, too.

i'll be glad when this is over so the race riots can start and we'll have something more interesting to talk about...
