Cleared or not she has obviously proven herself to be a crook with her per diem charges while living in her own house, letting the state pay for her kids to travel with her and getting their own $250+ a night hotel rooms, etc.. She is the biggest hypocrit to come around in a while. Her 15 minutes should be up in less than a day, unless Tina Fey keeps playing her on SNL.

I'm a liberal on most issues, and the congressional black caucus' homophobia not withstanding, we're a lot more likely to see advances on gay rights under an Obama presidency (specifically, ending DA/DT, though I'm not getting my hopes up; the democratic party won't support gays if it means angering the african american or hispanic wings of the party).

the Obamanaut zealots and kool-aid drinkers give me great pause and I have significant disagreements with aspects of Barry's foreign policy, but what's the worst that can happen?

Colin Powell made a mistake, he knew it, i watched him sweat while he was doing it and he, in all matters that count for me, resigned of his duty to the US administration.

He should have done it a lot sooner instead of being the puppet but a man has a right to make a mistake if he corrects it.

So Colin Powell isn't a sleasy republican or a sleasy anything, i expected him to support McCain and would have supported him in that choice but respect him a hell of a lot more for being honest with himself.

It took him a couple of more weeks than me though.
