Ok So I don't know about you but I've been waitting for the new Sarah McLachlan CD for the past 2 years.

Anyway the cheapest price I've seen is at CC ad for $9.99.

However, if you got some BB dollars from MickyDs you can PM and get it cheaper.

FYI this is out tomorrow, 11-4-03.

lol, i haven't heard her new songs yet. are they good if you're a McLachlan fan?

//krunk (^_^x)

only complaint is only 10 songs on the album, and mass majority sound like the single, Fallen

I've only heard previews (30 sec clips), but I wasn't entirely impressed, with the exception of Fallen.

Skip the album, get on iTunes and download her piano versions of "Fallen" and "Answer" off the Live Acoustic EP 2003 album, which is exclusive to iTunes. Just my personal opinion. Those performances are awesome.

I like her but haven't ever gotten any of her CD's for some reason. The radio here is playing the new single now.

I love Joan Osborne though.

I haven't tried to rip it so I can't confirm/deny that rumor.

If you're concerned about the copy protection, just buy the album off iTunes, burn to a CD-R, then rip back to MP3.

Rumor is this album has copy protection on it. I'll pass.

if you'd ever bought a cd u'd know the copy protection is worthless. i've never met a cd i couldn't rip with eac.

An older thread, but I wanted to mention something I just read on USA Today (dated 9/11/03) that is pretty cool:
Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan has her own opinions on the high costs of CDs, piracy and greed: "The industry needs to listen to what the kids are saying. If they can't afford a CD, I don't blame them (for file-sharing). Lower the damn price!" McLachlan and her record label, Nettwerk, are pricing her new album,Afterglow, 20% below the usual suggested retail in Canada (U.S. prices not set).
The CD is listed at $12.98 on amazon.com, but on amazon.ca it's CDN $13.99 = $10.70 USD.
I guess the $9.99 CC deal is still good too.

Rolling Stone has streaming videos for Fallen and Dirty Little Secret from this album, and a video for Angel. So did she record these (not the "music video" one) for Rolling Stone? I'd like to have them on DVD.
