i don't know how her husband look like, have heard that he is a drummer in the band or something

Yeah, she's got a nice voice. I like Silence, the song she did with Delerium on their album Karma. The Sasha and Digweed mix of it is pretty cool too. I remember having the biggest crush on her years ago when that Building A Mystery video came out.

😀

Talk about bad luck, 2 of my favorite female vocalists are on the molasses-in-february release schedule, Sarah, and Kate Bush.

*Sigh*
Nearly 10 years since Kate's last one. Something tells me Sarah will have a new album out before then.
Kate is one of the better singer-songwriters of the late-70s / early-80s and paved the way for Sarah, Tori Amos, etc.

By the way, you might also like the music of Happy Rhodes (www.auntiesocialmusic.com) especially "Building the Colossus" and "Many Worlds Are Born Tonight." Happy was heavily influenced by Kate, and even sounds like her at times, but is not a clone.

Kate Bush ....hmmmmmm...yesss 🙂

It's a bit OT, but my new Delerium album should arrive tomorrow!!

I first heard Sarah on Silence with Delerium, and then got some mp3's, as you do, before investing (wisely, of course) in one of her albums.

Completely kick-ass.

I love her music/voice. She is definitely my favorite female singer.

I usually fall asleep listening to some of her songs.

My favorites are:

Fear
Possession (regular, remix, and piano version)
Angel
Silence (with Delerium)

The remix album is really good.

Do most of you know the story behind the song "Possession"?. It's kinda weird, read below:

Sarah has also experienced the downside of fame. Devoted fans have started a fan club, Murmers, in her honor. One of the members of this fan club became obsessed with Sarah. He left his home in Ottawa to move to Vancouver to be closer to Sarah. For three years he stalked her, sending her obsessive emails. Sarah finally decided to get a restraining order on the man. Awhile after the restraining order came into place, Sarah wrote her hit song, "Possession". This song is based on her experiences with her stalker. The man started a lawsuit, claiming she was going against the agreement of the restraining order. The lawsuit was dropped and in 1994 the fan committed suicide. (Jennings: 48)

I heard anecdotally that lyrics in the song are actually taken from letters received from the stalker.

Like I mentioned above, it's a great CD

"Fear" and "Possession" on it are almost haunting!
