I've never heard of anyone OCing an x700 but it seems pretty pointless to me.. You most likely won't get any increase in real world performance out of OCing that card. Save up and invest in something that is known to OC like mad (ie 9800, 6800s, 7900gts). The heatsink on that thing is pretty weak too so an increase in voltage would probably kill it very quick unless you have good airflow.

agreed, the X700 was a failure imo, poorest performance for its price range at the time. I would suggest you save up and get a 7600gs or a 7600gt.

cooling should not be a problem because I am working on my own home-made heatsinks from box cooler from old Duron CPU and I will buy ATI Silencer 1 rev.2 onto GPU and I have 120 mm fan in front of VGA
I would like to know how to recognize which PCB is used on my VGA because I found this
http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/voltmods/117
Code:
This voltmod applies to the X700 PCI-Express using PCB #A379.
