That and oem is white box...retail has a branded box....maybe minus a few cables or something, or like he said...minus bundled software...I think

I think the ATI 8500 was the last time there was an actual performance difference between a retail and OEM card. Only when a card is OCed by the manufacturer or if you plan on OCing and one card has a better copper HS would it really make a difference. However, if a retail version has a game you want included for a price difference lesser then the game itself, then that is a factor as well.

For the X1900XT line up at this time, there is no difference, even in the cooling. Just what games come bundled and maybe a VGA to DVI adapter which you should not be using anyways.

usually the only difference between Retail and OEM is warranty. And I'm pretty sure build quality from Sapphire will be identical to BBA.

My OEM XT came with all the vivo cables, so I guess it's just the warranty.

I don't think its the warrenty. IIRC Sapphire cards come with a 2 year warrenty with no differentiation between Retail and OEM. The only difference I know about is that retail comes with a pretty multicolor box and a game DVD. (Or with other brands, LOTS of bundled games)

My X1900XT OEM came with all the cables/ 2x DVI->VGA and a driver CD. Oh it came with 8 high-density 1.1ns Samsung modules too.

I know this is an older thread but I just got my PowerColor X1900XT OEM and I must have got shafted because all I got was a bubble wrapped Card and Nothing else. No cables, dongles nadda.

I am lucky I have like 3 DVI-Analog adapters from my previous cards or else I would have not been able to connect my monitor.

Where did you buy it from and are you sure you bought the OEM card and not a refurbished one? With the OEM card you should have definately gotten a white box and the cables.
