I can't get Trixx to apply my custom settings on startup, it always returns to default 7950 clocks. Does anybody know what i can do?

Also this is a clean hard drive with a brand new windows install. Running latest Catalyst and Trixx versions.

Anybody have any insight on if this would be hardware related or software?

The card benchmarks fine, its just when i reboot, Trixx settings are lost.

Also check the "and restore clocks" box along with load on windows start up if you want your computer to boot up with the VC oc. My computer boots up with the overclock settings intact per above settings. You know you can also save your savings to profile one incase the above doesn't work for you for some reason and just select and load profile 1 to get to your oc with having to set the settings again.

Do you have both the load on windows and and restore clocks boxes checked?

Yeah they already are.

Just wanted to make sure you had BOTH the load on windows and restore locks boxes checked. My computer boots with the oc settings (per above) so not sure why yours isn't then, you could try unistalling Trixx and reinstalling it?

Hopefully someone else will post shortly to help you out with this. :)

You know I am thinking with you not knowing about scolling down for the BP settings and you being at work not in front of your computer, I can't help but think you only have one of those boxes checked. :)

Nah they are both checked, I was up late last night trying to get this fixed.

Ok, well give AB a try if that don't work then I don't know what the problem is maybe if you want try a driver reinstall. Just so know I am using the beta AMD drivers since I installed this card zero problems so far for me on the lastest beta drivers.

Doing some more research on forums it sounds like CCC needs to load before Trixx in order for Trixx's setting to function.

On my PC (fresh windows 7 install on clean hard drive) it seems to take CCC a really long time to load, and i think the Trixx icon shows up first in the taskbar.

Trixx is launched by a task in the task scheduler. You can set the trigger to delay its startup by maybe 10-15 seconds? I did that for mine so that Trixx would start after CCC and load the fan curve (rather than CCC's fixed fan speed).

Wahoo, I got it too work right one time!

I started up Trixx, reset everything to default, unchecked everything, shut down computer.

Restarted computer, loaded up Trixx manually (since I unchcked the auto start box) and left clocks at default, but this time checked to restart on startup.

Restarted computer. Trixx loads up, clocks at default where I left them (expected)

So this time, I enable my overclock profile, but leave the "restore/reset clocks" box unchecked.

Reset computer, Trixx starts up, and clocks are back to default. Expected behavior since I left the restore/reset check box unchecked.

So now, I enabled my overclock profile, AND I check the restore/reset clocks box.

Restart PC, Trixx loads up, shows default clocks for a couple seconds, and then my overclock profile automatically loaded woooot

So lets see if it works again :)

OH! OH! I think I figured it now guys hehe :)

As long as Trixx does not start minimized it seems to load my overclock. When I try to start minimized, it doesnt want to load my overclock.

No big deal, I'll just have to minimize that window when I boot up.

So I just uninstalled Trixx and am just running CCC now. I don't get voltage control but my OC loads on startup reliably (so far) ....
