Sapphire TRI-X R9 290 and Legacy mode?

SAPPHIRE TRI-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 OC(UEFI) page says,it is in UEFI mode . But SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC (UEFI) , has two bioses , Legacy and UEFI.

So doesn't Tri-X work in legacy mode? if it can work in both UEFI and Legacy , then why does the Vapor-X has two Bios'es?

The Tri-X has a dual BIOS and will work in either UEFI mode or Legacy mode in the default position the card is shipped with. If you install Windows with the UEFI/GPT partition it will also work with the switch in either position with fast secure boot enabled. Set the BIOS switch to the second BIOS position for ultra fast with a UEFI/GPT HD partition secure boot up enable. I have had my TRI-X running both in MBR and GPT and it works with the switch in either position in fast boot up. Also if you set the drive up with GPT/partition you need to check your MB BIOS (for other settings) and set to either fast or ultra boot up depending what you want.
