Hi,

After hours and hours of searching, I cannot decide on which graphic card to buy between those two...

I'd go with the Asus, but it is unfortunatly too expensive here :hmm:

What do you think about those cards ?

OR

My main worry is not even performance as they are really close, but more about realibility, issues, noise ect... :\

Thanks a lot,
my HD6850 is crying when running Metro LL

Both seem to have identical fans and heatsink.

However, sapphire has higher Core and memory cocks & more connectivity options whilst costing less..

Also, Sapphire has used Black PCB whereas Gigabyte has used a Blue one. (Gigabyte uses Black PCB in the OC version of this card.) Sapphire would be more reliable with better quality components.

Go for Sapphire.

Thanks a lot guys, going with Sapphire ;)

Expecting a jet noise however, but performance should be there :)

Will give feedback as soon as I can get my hand on it

Nah, just set up a custom fan curve in Sapphire Trixx or MSI Afterburner. The dual-fan cooler on the Dual-X/Toxic was already excellent and it only got better with the Tri-X/Toxic this generation moving on to 3 fans.

The older DX fan was already more than enough for Tahiti XT.

1150mhz at 70*C-75C is no problem.

Since they're both used definitely the Sapphire for less. If they were new the price premium of the Toxic would be a consideration.

Why would you expect it to be loud?

Because of the heavy overclock and most reviews shows that it is much louder than a Asus one for example

But yeah, got more power so :)

Yup, going for the Sapphire :)

Thanks again for your thoughts !
