Sapphire RMA

Unfortunately, I need to send back a card to Sapphire for RMA. Normally, I wouldn't care too much, but I've just read a ton of horror stories on the web about Sapphire and their RMA service. Apparently, you have to pay to have your card repaired, and it takes a long time to get a card back, which sometimes is defective too! Anyway, I'm not too happy about all this.

So, anyone knows how to contact Sapphire to obtain an RMA number? I looked on their web site and didn't find any form to fill like all other manufacturers. The only form I found was in the Warranty section and is only used to "register" your card with them, not ask for an RMA. Do I absolutely have to call them by phone? If so, it is very annoying.

One thing's certain, I am dropping Sapphire from the brands I carry for my customers!

your selling them, you can probably rma it to your vendor and get another quicker than through sapphire. who ever your vendor is, if they wont take it back and replace it, they will tell you to contact sapphire for rma. i love vendors for that reason.

Yes, my vendor offers one year warranty only, and the rest is directly with Sapphire. Since the one year period is over, I have to go through Sapphire, and phoning them is a bit difficult for me. I'm only selling hardware as a hobby, I have a full-time job during the day. Since Sapphire doesn't have an 800 number and that my full-time employer blocks long distance calls, there's no easy way for me to call them during business hours. That's why I wanted to know if there was another way to get an RMA from them than by phone.

It's unbelievable they don't have a web site for RMA like every other manufacturer I've dealt with.

maybe if you email their sales dept. maybe they can tell you?
e-mail: sales@sapphiretech.com
hopefully this is the link on their page
http://www.sapphiretech.com/en/support/selectregion.php
you click on americas (if your here) then create a support ticket. i think they will realize its bad and take it, regardless of how bad those others say sapphire is, be nice to sapphire unless they try to screw you over, if they try to, it may be cheaper for your customer to replace the card since its just a 1 year warranty with your vendor.

Thanks! I just sent them a request, but I think that's the same form I tried several days ago, and I have not heard from them since. I'll see how things go this time, and I guess I'll have to figure out a way to call them if this doesn't work.

Thanks again!
