Sapphire Radeon X850Xt PCIe card

OK...first off, the VPU is water cooled using a Danger Den block...and highest temps I've seen are in the mid 40s under load. I'm getting very poor graphics in the main game I play which is FFXI Online...mainly slight artifacts and blocky fills (not sure how to describe it other than when riding in an airship or running somewhere the horizon items just pop in and this video card should be better than that). I'm using the latest Catalyst drivers and the card is not overclocked because I get no better results. I'm wondering if I can add some more "power" to it by upping the voltage something...My PSU is Ultra 500W.

From what I heard Ultra's are hit or miss power supplies but are mostly not very reliable. Either way is the memory being cooled by ramsinks or anything? The memory could be overheating or could have simply went bad.

I would check your PSU rails to make sure they are within spec. Other than that it could be likely something went bad on it(likely a memory chip).

I've got Ramsinks on the memory chips...both front and back...if this one is bad, then this will be the second card to go bad...I'm not gonna be very happy with ATI if this is so.

well you could try downclocking the memory and core some just for the heck of it. If that doesn't fix the problem then prepare for RMA.
