Update to an earlier thread I posted in the display forum.

Picked this up for around $240 after rebate to run Freesync on this monitor. Should be in today. It replaces a 770 4gb that is going to move down stream to another system. (I may purchase a Ryzen Mobo/CPU combo later in the summer to go with it. and move the 2500K/Mobo downstream as well)

I play D3 and I want to ensure that I can have all the eye candy turned on with Freesync enabled @ 70hz. Should this work?

Diablo 3 (if thats what you mean by D3) is very CPU heavy, but yes it should run very well on that setup! I love my Fury for 3440x1440 (UltraWide 1440) with freesync. If you aren't already OCing that 2500k you will want to to get high FPS since Blizzard games are very CPU dependant but otherwise you will be doing great with it :)

Here is someone playing though they have a 6700k: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idT57FkFvhg

You'll be happy. I'm still happy with my Fury even after upgrading from 1440p --> 4K.

Integrated graphics can play D3 well, it's a 99% CPU bound game. Doesn't require any GPU power whatsoever.

I'd recommend getting some other games to take advantage of your new Fury.

Now you sound like my brother. He says I should try other stuff... I can't keep up with the whipper snappers at anything else. My hand-eye coordination is bad. I will upgrade to a Ryzen CPU once available then I *may* check out other games. :)

My fury is awesome for my 1440p ultrawide (3440x1440). Certain games (I play Overwatch, Division, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefield 1) I need to turn a few eye candy things off in order to get 75hz (which is what my monitor is), but not much (mainly just BF1, which I set to low just to get rid of all the extra stuff). Stuff looks great, and is nice and smooth.
