It's good to see Sapphire making boards again. - https://www.thefpsreview.com/2025/09/10/sapphire-nitro-b850a-wifi-7-motherboard-review/

Hardest thing I do 99.9% of the time is game. So I am even eyeing the NITRO+ B650M WIFI for the next build. I found it a minute ago looking for the B850A - https://www.newegg.com/sapphire-tech-motherboards-amd-amd-b650-am5/p/2MG-000N-00011

Probably better choices for the money? But I am a sucker for the nostalgia bait and idea of comboing it up with my Pulse 7900XTX.

Looks like a decent board, but not enough m.2 slots for me, especially since I would want to use the PCIe x4 slot for my NIC, and that is disabled when the 3rd m.2 slot is used. I am hoping that this means Sapphire will continue to offer additional board designs down the road, and I am especially eager for some good X870E options.

I was reading that both Sapphire and Colorful are made by Chaintech. And that bios update releases are exceptionally poor for both brands. I guess I'll be sticking to the big 4. :( EDIT: Unless they start putting much more effort in.

Ah that is unfortunate to hear, but I guess not surprising really.

Yeah the lack of BIOS updates on Sapphire's website really put me off. Like there is no BIOS files on their website, not even the 1.0 release or whatever version they shipped it with. That is a big no no for me.
