i am planning to get Sapphire motherboards based on Intel 685PE chipset and was wondering if these motherboards are stable enough for a Pentium 4 2.8C/E since they are cheap. was eying for ECS brands but had problems with them before..

has anyone tried using Sapphire Motherboards?

thanks

No. Motherboards are not their specialty. I would go for msi, abit, or albatron. I've returned boards directly to them, and their online rma works well. Albatron had the fastest service. I doubt you could return a board to sapphire.

I'd stick to Sapphire for video cards only. There are so many better choices out there for a mainboard.

Unless of course, we should find that Sapphire contracts its mainboard production out to ECS, like half the other mainboard companies in the world. ;)
