Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB

I am going to get a new graphics card - Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB. Now i have a Radeon 64Mb VIVO card in. Will i notice much difference if i upgrade? Also i only have a AGP4X mobo. If i get a new mobo with AGP8X will there be any performance increase?

there is no performance increase with agp 8x versus the agp 4x. agp 8x has the same performance as agp 4x. 8x is backwards compatable to 4x. and yes, you will notice a night and day differance between a radeon 64mb and a radeon 9600

AGP 8X is just marketing in action ... no real diff in 4x/8x that u'll notice.

but yeh, the 9600 will blow away ur VIVO 64mb
