They seem to be one of the few people who are creative in their Radeon models... They are the only ones with a VIVO option of their new 9000 series. I'll throw in the link for good measure.

Powered by ATI, not made by ATI. but a 9000+VIVO for around $100US is AWFULLY tempting!! [holding breath]

I just picked up a retail 8500LE 128MB retail card the other day....apparently the memory was only clocked at 200mhz (instead of 250) and the core was, and is supposed to be, at 250 ...i used the riva tweaker and clocked the memory at 252 and noticed absolutely no artifacts in any programs...solid...i didn't take it any further because, well, i'm not into pushing my hardware to the limits, but i'm sure it would've gone further...didn't touch the core settings either.

on my LG Flatron 995FT Plus @ 1280x1024 - 85Hz, the text is sharp and the graphics look great....

i'm using the catalyst ver. 2 (latest) drivers from ATI - the "powered for ATI" release...works flawlessly with all video options present after u install the control panel set...that is, u install the drivers first, then the control panel.

i highly recommend the sapphire brand...i've used one other powered by ATI brand card and it was god awful...i'd recommend sticking w/ ATI, Sapphire, and Hercules...Gigabyte, though I've never used any of their Radeon products, is also probably a pretty safe bet.

I have the same card,core 250 mem 200.

The ram is slower than I expected but overall it's a good card.
