Guess it makes sense, since a bios has been out for this card for a few days now. It will be interesting to see if they come out soon or not. Asus has announced a card with the same specs as well.

Who knows? I would imagine it would run hotter, unless they make a better heatsink/fan for it. I have read the 2D mode is the same at 1.275 but it jumps to 1.433 in 3D mode.

i wonder if the availablity is gonna be just as bad as the 512

Somehow, I doubt it. And since you can download the BIOS for it.. you can flash your normal XT anyways. A user who did this, reported a great overclocking increase. The best he could do with the stock BIOS was 720Mhz core, and now he has his 765Mhz core stable. He is watercooling his card though, so I wouldnt expect that to be the norm. Still, thats a very fast card...
