Sapphire 9700NP Bios

Hiya all!
I ordered a Sapphire based 9700non-pro a few days ago, and had a few questions.

Would it be possible for me to wipe the bios on it to a 9700pro?
would this be safe todo?
Anyone done this or see any problems with this?

Try overclocking it the sapphire bios maybe unlocked. You could try and if it didn't work do a blind flash back to the original. If you didn't have an extra pci video card.
