Does the Sapphire 9700 Pro spiral type heatsink (non ATI stock type), use standard heatsink grease or does it use the thick yellow ATI type of compound that is mentioned in some reviews?
Also, does the Sapphire heatsink make good contact with the GPU or is it slighlty raised due to the shim around the GPU, as it is with a standard ATI type heatsink ?
I know that I could just take it apart and see, but I don't want to take it apart, risk damage and void a warranty if I don't have to.
