I'm currently running a BFG 8800 GTS 640MB EE OC on an Intel Q6600 in a Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI with 8 GB G.Skill DDR2 1066. I've got two 19" LCDs and a 24" LCD. I'd like to run games at the max resolution on the 24" LCD, 19x12, with as high of settings as possible when gaming. I mostly play MMOs and sometimes FPSs.

Right now I've been looking at the Sapphire HD 4850 X2 2GB GDDR3 with 4 DVIs. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814102809. The card seems to be fairly powerful and great for a multi-LCD setup. It looks like it's more than enough for the future and should last a few years. I also plan to upgrade my PSU to an 1100W ABS Tagan to support it as well as a second card should I go for a CF setup in the future.

I suppose my question is whether this card is a good fit for my situation or whether there is a better setup I should look at?

You are on a SLI board ; Crossfire - X will require a new MB as well as the PSU. It is hard to say what the future will bring, so I never look out ahead very far when it comes to computer parts.

It sounds like the 4850x2 will suit your current needs - You will not need 1100 watts for a single card, not by a long shot.
