Hi, i'm about to upgrade my graphic card, and i have decided to go with the 4830.
I just found out there is a 1GB version though, so now i'm not sure of what to pick.

I can't find any reviews with the 1GB edition and Sapphire doesnt list it either.
Its production number is 11147-02-20R while the 512mb card has 11147-00-20R.
The price difference is 27% if i take the numbers from the same online store.

1099 kr. (147?) for 1GB
799 kr. (107?) for 512MB

Anyone have a clue how much an extra 512MB will do?

Thanks..

There is a link to a 4850 512MB vs. 4850 1GB review. That is pretty close to the card you are looking at. At most resolutions for most games the extra memory doesn't do a whole lot from what I saw. Considering that the 4830 is even less powerful then the 4850 I would think it would provide even less benefit. Personally, I'd probably save the money and get the 512 card in this case. But, look at the link and see if any of those games are games you play and if there is much benefit at your monitors resolution.
