Sapphire 3870

So I just bought a new rig and decided to go with a 3870. LOVE IT! It's alot better than my old AGP X800. A LOT.

But enough about that. I have questions.

Right now I have just the one card in and am using a P5E board that allows me to use crossfire both with true 16x pic-e 2.0. I am looking at in the next 2 or 3 months getting another 3870. *Not looking for the 4850 right now that might change in the next 2-3 months, but not yet.*

Right now I am looking at either another of the exact same card, or the Toxic version of the same sapphire card. Coinsidering that my first card is not a toxic model, is that going to be a problem? Will the other card be a bottle neck? What If I overclock the card?

Also on over clocking, right now I am looking at using Ntuner or ATI tool. What do you recommend? I want to get a little more out of my card, but nothing overkill. Just a safe and stable OC. What could I look at speed wise with a fan speed increase?

I am just looking for someone/s to bounce ideas off of. Right now, while I know that the 4850 is the better idea, I dont want to even THINK of canning a card I have had less than 2 weeks. So just throw me an Idea and let me know what you think of the Crossfire solutions, and what you think of how to OC this card!

Thanks everyone.

Well, I can tell you to go with the CCC overdrive tool. Its made by ATI and probably the safest bet. I did with my 1900XTX and it worked great!

I'm not familiar with the toxic version. Is that an overclocked version with the same hardware?
