I just went to local Costco in Bridgeview, IL and picked up a kit for $20.

Per CPA - Looks like this is B&M only.

Review.

Very good rechargeable batteries. What makes those unique is excellent shelve life time. Those have much less self discharge rate than "normal" rechargeables.

I'd say $20 is hot for 8AA, 4AAA and charger.

looks like it's B&M only, as it's not on the website.

That is hot... normally that would get you just the 8x AA.

This is hot, I got 4AA,4AAA for $20 w/0 charger. But I don't got no B&M near where I live. So poop ... just have to pay the higher price.

I went down to my Costco and their price was 25.99. I passed since I was going to get two or three. I'll wait and maybe the price will drop.

$25.99 ain't a bad deal either. I have had great luck with the Eneloops and at $20 or even $26 for this package it is a good deal.

Hot Damn!

The best I could find is a clearance @ Wally's : $17 for charger and 4aa.

A pack of 4 aa is usually $10 aprox.

I'm not a Cosco member so I have to call in a favor from a friend who is.

Thanks ever so much for the tip!

Duration is an asset!

Picked some up on Black Friday. Nice kit -- 12 good NiMH for $20 plus the charger. Most folks have chargers already, but this one will also do AAA.

the burbank one had it for $28, is there a coupon or something?

When I went there yesterday the price was $25 and they had $5 instant off. $20 :cookie:

Got them.

They were also labeled $25.99 at the store I went to but the $5 off is at the cashier.

I picked up another set today. Still $20.

I tested those today to see their performance in pro flash unit. Those are very good. I was actually very surprised how quickly my flash recharged. Excellent performance!

The charger is a bundled Eneloop charger. I do not know the model # but I have it and it is a decent smart charger. Not the dumb timer controlled crap you usually get bundled with most batteries. This deal is well worth the price. Hell, even at the retail price it is nice.

Model # is NC-MQN05U. Yes, it is a smart charger so you can charge just one battery if you want. The approximate charging times, according to the spec sheet is 7 hours for the AA's and 6 hours for the AAA's.

Confirmed.

We shopped at CostCo tonight to buy some yogurt and I remembered this thraed.

It is $25.99 - $6 instant rebate = $19.99 out the door + 0% Oregon sales tax
