No, but a 74 min CD in 3:50 isn't shabby. That being said, I generally hop on the latest CD-RWs, but I won't be rushing out for this one. I'm satisfied with both my PleXtor 12/10/32A and 16/10/40A units. Rock solid and ultra reliable. When PleXtor releases a &quot;true&quot; 24X writer, I'll upgrade.

I mean, really, what's the big deal waiting 1 extra minute for a CD to finish?
