Is the $100 rebate from Sprint for new customers only?

Fantastic phone!

The promotion for the 8100's are going to end in June. Does anybody know what the next promo is going to be. I don't want to pick one up at $100 out of pocket and find it free in less then 2 months.

just seeing if anybody has heard anything.

The 8100 is one of the hottest phones around even at full price. There's no way it will be free in 2 months.

Is the 5300 better than the 8100 for a $100 more?

I scored two of the 8100s for $145 at CC couple weeks ago after PMing BB, but the camera is v.poor... the 5300 camera seems mucho better... is the $100 difference essentially for the better camera? [Also, re: the 8100 reception - much to my surprise, it is worse than my ancient (non software upgraded) Samsung 8500 in many spots - don't know what to make of it.]

Another feature I am interested in is the USB capability - Is it possible in either of these phones to download phonebook info thru a data cable from Outlook or is it necessary to buy and use Sanpsync software?

Trying to figure whether I shld return the 8100 and get in on the 5300 for $149 deal (at Sprint store), mentioned by Dakota elsewhere
