Santorini: The Most BRILLIANT Place on Earth?

A few weeks ago, I took a vacation with the GF to Santorini and Naxos. Of course I was armed with my EOS-20D, EF 24-105 F4L, EFS 10-22, and some REALLY nice B+W UV and circular polarizer filters (about $175 each). This was really a return visit for me as I went to Santorini previously during the summer of 2003, then armed with my PowerShot G2. This time I had a tripod with me, a level, and shot in the RAW format. I took about 250 photos in Greece (Santorini, Naxos, and Athens).

I just started post-processing the photos today, so I thought I would post a few samples. Eventually, most of them will end up on my web site.

Santorini is really beautiful. If I had a dime for every gallon of white paint Mikonos and Santorini went through each year I'd own those islands by now. 🙂

On a side note, are you doing the vignetting effect intentionally or is that from your CP?

Intentionally. And I cannot think of a more romantic place for a honeymoon.
