Yeah a cold draft would likely have you in the low twenties, I'd be interested in some OCCT temps as well though :D.

Am I correct in thinking all new sandy bridge CPU's have HT?

It's only 4.2Ghz turbo correct? Meaning 1 core at 4.2Ghz. Not that drastic to need a bigger heatsink

yeah pretty much, its a strange way as the overclock is now not really an overclock but a boost to one core :)

Silly question but whats the distance from the center of the fan on the heatsink to the first memory slot, just wondering how many slots the scythe mugen 2 will block off with a fan.

not really sure, but i dont think aftermarket heatsink's work on just any board! i know one ASRock motherboard that anandtech reviewd does support soccet 1156 heatsinks
