Are there any improvements for Sandy Bridge processors on Windows 8 like there is for Bulldozer? Any benchmarks yet? Since Windows 8 should be even more efficient than 7, I'm just wondering if Sandy Bridge will get any extra performance boost.

I think the only reason Bulldozer is seeing improvement in Windows 8 is that it knows how to handle the modules better to increase performance. Something that wouldn't effect Sandy Bridge because their cores don't share resources like the cores within AMD's modules do.
I thought the point behind testing Windows 8 was that Windows 8 has multithreaded optimizations, they compare BD to a 2500K because that's BD's closest competitor price wise, but we should really be interested in Sandy Bridge Hyperthreading performance in Windows 8 vs. 7 as it could very well be that we see the same level of performance improvement in Win 8 over Win 7 with SB chips with HT that BD sees.
