Every one here has 2 more c0res than I've got.. I am jelly :sneaky:
1: Welcome to the Forums.
2: Set Vcore to 1.410, CPU LLC medium.
3: Set Multiplier to 47, test, done lol🙂
If it wont sit there happily bump it by .05 one notch at a time till it will, it wont take much more than that from what I have seen so far.
Alternatively if its fine at 1.410 with 100x47 and stable, try backing down till u get P95 errors, bump it back up 1 notch, and retest, should have your minimum voltage required for 4.7.
Around 4.85 you will most likely start to require very significant voltage increases to proceed further up based on what I have seen posted.
For example my chip takes the following to be totally stable(these are 100% load voltages):
3600-4300 = 1.18vcore
4500 = 1.308
4700 =1.372
4800 = 1.424
4900 = 1.504
5000 = 1.572
5100 = Over 1.6, so not sure but 1.6 is nearly stable 😛
So can you get this 3960x chip OC to 5Ghz ???
Better yet what will Ivy Bridge E OC to ? 5Ghz Im hoping ? I can dish out 1.440v What would that get me in Ivy Bridge E .. 5Ghz ? thanks gl
