I think the 6 cores OC less.

But what about my i7 3820 . It does 4.6Ghz max OC ,, I know there might be a trick way to get it up to 4800 stable.

settings in cig.

Can someone possibly help me get this to 4.8Ghz so I can some peace within me.. thx !!!!!! luv you all.......

4.6 for a SNB-E is already doing very well. And 1.448v is way too high for SNB-E. You'll kill that poor processor at that kind of voltage, regardless of cooling. You want to get it below 1.4v ASAP.

Let the chip die, I have 3 year warranty... giddy!

and Once I get my Ivy Bridge E 8 core monster I will OC to 5Ghz just to smack Haswell and prove to you, Haswell is nothing but a faster GPU in CPU and low powerconsumption. Thats it. Whoever wants a enthusiast Haswell will have to wait until 2014. In 2013 the fastest processors will be Ivy Bridge E 6 to 12 core monsters

Simple question, what voltage do I need for a 4800Mhz OC I have found out I need 1.480v . What should I take it to, so I can boot @ 4.8 ?

PLL voltage is 1.90

Soo far running good, But Im scared to run a stability test lol or play a game... :( I tweaked some sH*T in the bios .... lets see if she can stay stable @ 4.8Ghz ........ if comp runs for 2 days straight, its stable to me. NO need to torture test the poor cpu chip. hehheee,,
