Really, is she so up to her eyes in inner Washington circles of power that people like this are okay to put on your staff?

Great news.

Things were very good under Bill.

Now I know for certain that this is a horrible horrible thing.

What a stupid move. And people were thinking that it would take plants asking her loaded questions to slow down your campaign.

That is one thing that came to mind. I wonder who else will come back from her husband's administration? Sometimes I think that anyone in Washington is the last choice for President

why are right wingers so paranoid?
Maybe the lefties are comfortable with having their politicians directly associated with criminals and felons? I guess it's only considered a crime these days by the left when a politician is gay?

But Hillary will change that status quo if she becomes prez. Criminals will become honorable once again.

How is it any different from GWB reviving Poindexter out of the dumpster of history? As we all recall, GWB let Poindexter run one program and its collapsed into a scandal.
Even if Burger was maybe trying to do some revisionist history to maybe cover up some of his past mistakes, he is still current on national security matters and hence does makes a good adviser. Even if his security clearance is revoked, getting the truth out of GWB is impossible anyway. Maybe Hillary should have used someone else, but I fail to see this as anything to get super upset about.

Why did the left demonize Scooter Libby and call for his head while they continue to make excuses for Sandy Berger?

Cognitive dissonance.

The man stole classified documents, do you understand how serious that is? Would you say "but I fail to see this as anything to get super upset about." if we were discussion a Republican candidate talking about getting Scooter Libby as an adviser?

No, this is just the interest payment.

This should come as no surprise at all. All Clinton's men are back in the campaign. Begala, Carville, Podesta, Ickes, Berger, et al.

Looks like all the crooks have come to roost.

Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Bernard Kerik, that drug running working for giuliani, Bob Ney, duke cunningham, Abramoff, david safavian, ted stevens...

If he took the documents and sold them to the chinese, I'd be outraged. I stll have no idea what he was doing with them. Care to explain why GED.50?

Explain why? Are you asking me to explain why he took them? How would I know why he STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS? Why are you deflecting from the main issue, that he STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS?

BTW, nice try, but I don't think that GED.50 makes sense. But maybe I'm just not as familiar with the whole GED process as you are, I thought it was a better idea to just go ahead and get my HS diploma when I graduated.

Interestingly, as part of his plea deal, Berger no longer has security clearance. How does one become a security advisor with no security clearance?

Seems plausible. Might explain the Hsu cash train...

Oh, so Craig and the rest named you consider honorable?

The vast majority of right-wing blogs I've seen are wondering why Craig isn't gone yet and have despised Steven for his porkish ways for a long time now. In fact, many consider Steven the equivalent of a Democrat the way he bring home the bacon.

So where's the outrage from the left over Sandy "The Sock Burglar" Berger being on Hillary's staff? Or is there no outrage and it's just more of their typical partisan hypocrisy that's so prevalent among the Democrats and left today? C'mon lil lady, do tell.

You would think that the American voters would be tired of the Bush and Clinton name after all these years. SSDY. One can only hope that Chelsea, Jenna, and Barbara have no political asperations.

So let me get this right, its OK if someone else does it?

Or is it OK just because you can find an example similar that relates to Bush?

I am trying to nail down the values of the left here but its a moving target and illogical.

Who cares if it is the same as Shrub and Poindexter (Will I ever type that name again without thinking of Revenger of the Nerds?)!

It was a stupid move which makes it look like she is going to be a continuation of what we have now, an idiot pol who thinks that loyalty is tantamount even at the expense of putting people that have betrayed the public trust back into positions of importance.
