So maybe asking on a technical site for help cooking isn't the brightest idea, but hey, we're all creative insane individuals...

So I got this sandwhich maker for my new apartment. My fondest memory of the one my mother owns is being able to make pizza in one...

So I looked at the cheesy little "instruction guide," and they give three lousy recipes. I plugged in a quick search online to see if I could come up with anything... but no.

Does anyone know of any good recipes for the thing (pizza will work... ;-) )

Thanks!

Is it the one that toasts/grills the sandwhich, plus seals the edges and cuts it into 4 pcs?

Here are a few recipes, and also one for calzones.

For pizza, I'm not sure if you could use the prepared pizza dough that is sold in the store (in the can like biscuits) as it might not cook lnog enough, but you could try using a couple pita breads, add some tomato or spaghetti sauce, mozzerella + other cheeses to your liking, some toppings, and give it a whirl.

Pizza is Super easy to make in those ... grab you a can of pizza quick sauce ... some sliced mozzerella cheese .. some regular bread of your choice .. and then some pepperoni slices if thats what you like and go to town .. if not cook some hamburger in a pan and then drain the grease .. place a couple of spoonfuls in there and you are set ..

for a desert one ... take jam (i suggest strawberry) and then take some cream cheese and put both of these between two peices of bread .. cook it .. and it comes out really yummy

my favorite easy one is ham and cheese .. you cant go wrong with that one ...

its all up to your taste buds though ..

hope this helps .. enjoy
