Hi.
Anyone have any experience with this? Is it any good? I've got a brand new (unwrapped it yesterday) CII 633 and even at default settings it locks up with the Sandra burn in Wizard ( Crap software or dud CPU, what do ya reckon.....

I have a problem with sandra too, it looks up when I run the ram bench mark...don't know why...maybe some of those anandtech gurus out there know why??? Nothing else cuases problems...not even prime95 torture test.

I wouldn't use the burnin prog on Sandra. Stick with the usual stuff: prime95, 3DMark, QIII demo loops.

"Burn-in" is not necessary, or even helpful, imho.

Although, it's not a bad idea to loop a program to test stability.

which test is it locking up in? That should point you the right way. But it is freeware and no one I seen here in anandtech recommends it. If I was you and you wanted to strees test your new system to see if you got good parts then use Prime95. Its a distributed net client kinda software but it has some really good testing software, that shows you the limits of overclocking better than anything else i've used. You can find it for free download at Prime95.
