Ok I keep bluescreening after a few runs of SiSoft Sandra burn in.
Trying to maintain a stable 166/333 but it's not workin!

Some hardware details:
XP 1700+ Tbred rev. A
1 stick of Crucial 2700 512MB
Asus A7N8X

Memory timing is set to optimal or 3-3-3-7
CPU Vcore is at 1.6V
DDR is at 2.6V default

Think I'm pushing it too hard?
Thinking of bumping up DDR V a tiny bit but is it really necessary? I mean it's running in spec at 2700...

remmeber if soething isnt stable, first t hing to do is raise v for soething.....if its still not stable, raise v for something else....contineu until you cant raise v for something, or it wont become stable so you have to step down a bit...

.....after re reading that, i sound like my chem teacher whn i was learning double replacement LoL

teacher= "take something*something plus something*something....switch something with something....so you end up with something*something plus something*something."

lol
after he said that,....he kinda looks at board looking at what he wrote.....nods (in a "yes" manner)....turns around to find 90% of the class with the "WTF?!?" look on their faces hahaha

Ugh. Still crashed at 1.7V CPU..but this time it wasn't a BS. The app just crashed and windows was still functional. Should I increase memory voltage? I'm kind of scared doing this as one of my Crucial DDR's just burned up at stock voltage and speed.

give it more vcore
if it doesnt help, vdimm it and see if it helps
if it does, then you know what the limiting factor is

you have agp set to 66.6 right?

Well all I want is 166! No higher..I could live with 133.
Just drives me nuts that others were able to hit it without issues. I've got the Vcore up to 1.75 now and it STILL farts out even with conservative memory settings. Maybe I just got a crappy Tbred.

Your chip is multiplier unlocked; try lowering the multiplier. What are you running at now, stock 11X ? If so, that's only 1.8 GHz, which is abnormally low.

It was doing 9x166 and I wanted to stay within 1.5GHz. It should easily do it but it's just not 100% stable even with different Vs.
