I just ran sandra for the first time on my new computer, and it said several things that I think are wrong. First, it said that my cpu fan had failed and that I should shut down immediately. I didn't believe it, and checked my cpu temp quickly, 22C, that seems cool enough. I then proceeded to get a flashlight to peer in at my cpu through my cpu duct on the side of my case, and sheeew, the fan is running. So what gives with sandra? It also told me I should use buffered ECC ram in my mobo (Chaintech Vnf4 ultra). This is incorrect isn't it? I think my board is designed for unbuffered Non-ECC ram, at least that's what it's using now. Would buffered ECC even work with this board? Other stupid things about sandra were that it thinks I should actually not use a wallpaper on my display, ???, and not use a screensaver. Also, it seems to think my beta nvidia drivers are bad because they aren't certified. So, why does it think my fan isn't running, and do I need/can I use buffered ECC ram?
