I actually agree, I have so many dead SD/micro SD from diff brands and size it is not funny. I rather take my chances and carry 10x 128gb. On the other hand I never have a CF die on me.
yeah i wish CF would make a comeback, its so reliable compared to SD its like in a league of its own.

Unless of course you bend a pin in the CF card slot. While I never had that happen it seems to me SD cards are safer in that regard; you're not going to render the SD slot unusable.
