Why is this listed as "for notebook"? No adapter to 3-1/2"? Also be sure to test it as soon as it arrives. Several NE customers reported receiving ones with no innards. Good deal though I think.

I copied and pasted.. maybe the 'for notebook' means it is slim? I bought an extreme from them a month ago and it is great.

The "for notebook" probably means that it is only in a 2.5" shell and that there is no 2.5" to 3.5" adapter for use in a desktop computer HD cage. Looking at the description on the Newegg listing doesn't say a 3.5" adapter is included. The SATA connectors are exactly the same for both. There is no reason why a 2.5" SATA drive will not work in a regular desktop.
