Is anyone else using U3 software on SanDisk thumbdrives?
I love the concept, and have used them for quite a while, building quite a pile of thumbdrives that I regularly use, but they are driving me nuts at this point.
It seems like SanDisk has been getting worse and worse with their support of the U3 technology on their thumbdrives. On their forums someone stated that they sold the U3 Technology to Microsoft, and it went no where after that.
I unfortunately bought two 16gb Ultra Backup thumbdrives before finding out that they will not work with Windows 7 whatsoever, and the "encryption" depends on the U3 software. WTF?
I'm going to be making the switch to PortableApps once I find some decent security software on those. And I need to find new thumbdrives as well, as I refuse to buy anything from SanDisk again after all this crap.
