SanDisk microSD card isn't partitioning properly.

No idea why it's doing it, but I brought a brand new micro SD mobile memory kit thingie, and for some reason, my phone formatted the 2GB memory stick as a 1GB stick. My Samsung phone has support for 2GB memory sticks, according to the documentation I've seen, and when I try to delete the partition in Windows, it won't let me. So... I have a 2GB stick with a 1 GB partition that I can't delete, and a non-partitioned gig that I can't do anything with. Any way to force windows to delete it all?

Like I said in the title, SanDisk. In computer management, if I try to delete the exsisting partition, the option is greyed out, on the unallocated space, "create new partition" is greyed out. Been spending the better part of three hours trying every trick I could think of, and scouring the internet for answers, but not finding relevant information.
