Looking for a good quality 240/250gb ssd, there appears to be a zillion of them and i have come to the conclusion MLC obviously is a winner and my previous experience with a Intel 330 series 180gb MLC was beyond amazing.Never missed a beat with it.Have had cheap TLC drives and obviously noticed a difference that made me wish i spent just a bit more.

You got your typical 850 Evo 256gb offering,850 Pro and then your Sandisk Extreme Pro.Those seem at least the last i checked seem to be the big 3 at least for your 240-256gb offerings.A trillion other cheap TLC options which vary like a Mcdonalds dollar menu and priced the same.

The Sandisk Extreme Pro seems to sit nice and comfortable between the Samsung EVO and PRO as far as price goes.Basing off Newegg as i always shop there usually.

I hear mixed things about the EVO but i don't mind a price premium for the Sandisk. What do you guys think?🙂I may opt for the Samsung 850 Pro as well.

Its a great drive with low latency and great steady state performance, you will be pleased. Top choise for me along with Samsung 850 Pro. Pick what you like from both, i chose the Sandisk Extreme Pro this time since i tried the Samsungs.

Ordered the Samsung 850 Pro 256gb 🙂 Maybe a bit more then i need but these days the hard drive is usually the weakest part of the rig anyways.

256gb is plenty for the main games i play with some room left to spare, big files and downloads not game based can still go on my 320gb mechanical.
