What's your application? If it meets your needs, it might be ok, but these cards are being phased out.

About the same price per MB as the SanDisk Extreme® IV CompactFlash® 8GB SDCFX3-8192 List Price: $559.99. The new cards are LOTS FASTER.

I'd expect the Extreme card is faster than the Lexar card. Doesn't quote the speed of the Extreme, but Extreme IV is over 100X, while the Lexar is quoted as 4X.

Yeah I'd figure they would be slow. I don't do a lot of shooting and my camera rarely goes anywhere since its so big (Canon A95), just found these and thought it was a pretty cheap price for the storage amount.
