Hi All,

When I use my Sandisk cruzer Micro 2 GB with WIN XP computers, it gets switched off when stopped. When used with Vista computers, the power doesnot get switched off, even though the message says that the drive can be safety removed.

I have updated my Vista to the current status so there should not be any driver issues. Also updated the firmware of the laptop.

I think it is one of the numerous bugs with Vista. Am I right or is there a solution?

From what I've seen from Vista so far, that sounds about right. If not, this post also doubles as a bump, so you can find a resolution.

Aah! Here people not interested in problems related small things like flash drive. I take my question to some other thread.

no one knows... Has this bug affected you? As long as you have chosen "optimize for quick removal" for your flash drive, you should be ok.

I have the same exact problem. Works fine with XP, but not with Vista.
