Sandisk CF reader in XP shows up twice?

Hi guys, I posted this over in GH, but thought the folks that really know their operating systems might be able to help me out a little better here. 🙂

Would anyone happen to have a Sandisk SDDR-31 USB CF reader working along with Windows XP?
I've just got one little problem, when I plug it in, TWO drives are created. Both exactly the same, called "Sandisk Imagemate", a G: and H: drive are created.
Has anyone else looked into why this is happening, or know of a fix for it?
It's more a nuisance than a detriment, but it'd be nice to clean that up.

Remove the SanDisk reader from XP. Then unplug it.

Reboot with it unplugged, and after the system is stabilized and loaded, hotplug it. XP should find it and give you a single iteration.
