Would anyone happen to have a Sandisk SDDR-31 USB CF reader working along with Windows XP?
I've just got one little problem, when I plug it in, TWO drives are created. Both exactly the same, called "Sandisk Imagemate", a G: and H: drive are created.
Has anyone else looked into why this is happening, or know of a fix for it?
It's more a nuisance than a detriment, but it'd be nice to clean that up.

Mine shows up as one single drive. It's the Sandisk SDDR-31 reader. And it works without a hitch.

Try removing it from your system and from XP. Unplug it. Then reboot without the Sandisk redaer . . . and when the mahine is up and stabilized, hot plug it. It sould only end up with one iteration installed.

I gave that a try Corky, but the same thing happened again. This has me baffled. I like to think of myself as quite knowledgable about hardware and OSes(I went to school for 2 years just to get better), but this really has me scratching my head. :) I hate this feeling, like there's one little registry change that would fix it or something really easy.
I'm going to be up all night until I get this, no doubt. haha

I don't see SanDisk with nay XP driver updates. :(

I'm running a CUSL2, and also tried switching USB ports(as I'm only using the 2 onboard at the moment). My other port has my Intellimouse, so I've tried the reader in both ports, only to have the same result.
It's one of those things that makes you want to beat something, but not knowing what's causing the problem I better not. :)
