Sandisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo is $40 at Target this week. Lowest price at Price Grabber is $50. Great for PSP, camera, or whatever that uses this memory format.

Ok, has anyone actually found this item at a target? I see that it is listed in their flyer (BM and online), but the target I went to did not even carry the SanDisk brand! Yet, when I went to their web site, put in SanDisk, it said they had a 1gb available at the store I went to. (Not the 2gb deal, but they DIDNT have a 1gb either when I was there in person.)

I talked to a person at the service desk about the ad and they (unbelievably) do not have a system that will tell them whether they have an item in stock or not. They rely on FRS radios to coworkers! :(

And my second question is, if I have a copy of the ad, where is the best place to try price matching?

I have personally seen the 512mb, 1gb memory sticks are Target. Saw a place for the 2GB but they where out. Went to a second Target but didn't see the 2gb in stock and they still had the original price of $90.00 showing.

they have em....

I was there yesterday returning the 2 gig'er Id just bought (got in on 4 of the 4gb chips from buy.com).

So, there's at least one working 2 GB chip at the Cary, NC target! :)

Yesterday I was able to locate a 2 GB sandisk memory stick for $39 at a second Target. The trick is they aren't kept with the rest of the digital camera memory--They are with the PSP accessories. This fooled me and probably fools the employees sometimes too. In fact, the ONLY place in target that you will find SanDisk brand memory is in the PSP section. The digital camera section only has Sony, Lexar, and some generic brand.

I found it ironic that it was right next to a 512 MB stick selling for 3 cents more than the 2 GB stick.

It seems $40 is the 'price point' for these this holiday season. I got one for $40 at Best Buy, but then saw them for less (all w/rebate) at a few other retailers.

Just FYI.
